Faye Tyndall Gayle is actively involved in the local community including her role as President of the Green Point Community Association and has a particular interest in women’s groups and politics. Faye relocated to Forster where she pursued a career change into the health industry as a ward clerk at Forster Private Hospital prior recently retiring. Shaun brings meaningful knowledge of government policy formulation, processes and funding arrangements, gained through his role as a Director in the CDEP and Secluded Employment Branch of FaHCSIA in 20112012. We welcome Melanie’s continued support of the Association through her position as Board Member. Renee has lived in the Vast Lakes Local Area since 2007 and brings a diverse working history in the private, notforprofit, and Government sectors. This has been imperative not only to thrive opportunities for its target groups, which may not have been developed, but also to establish credibility with local business, the community and government. This has included strategic direction and policy advice to the board, administration and management systems development, communication and advocacy, networking and relationship building, monitoring, reporting and accountability. Glenn’s role includes overseeing all the Association’s administration tasks including payroll, accounts, workers compensation, insurance, motor vehicle fleet control, taxation obligations, government regulations, compliance and risk management. Lynda's role includes maintaining and developing relationships, developing and coordinating promotional activities, identifying opportunities and developing improved policies, procedures and practices. Professional strengths of Lynda's include extensive administration management, business systems' improvement, multilevel communication, negotiation and liaison, contract management coordination, human resource management with a keen interest in the training sector. Matt’s background includes busy in fore line government roles and systems administration in the not for gain and insignificant business sector. Joshua BurgueteKirkman (Communications Officer) Joshua has been a member of our Board since 2013 and resigned in early 2015 to join the Association in the role of Projects Officer Communication. Initially joining Community Resources as a work experience placement, Allie was soon offered a fulltime Traineeship in Certificate II in Business istration which she had fully completed one year later. Allie's other interests include travel (she plans to visit her birth country, Romania), animals and music. Toni Paul son (istration Assistant) Toni joined the team in early 2015 as istration Assistant. A community based, federally funded program to help unemployed, particularly disadvantaged unemployed, to gain and retain employment. This has been crucial not only to thrive opportunities for its target groups, which may not have otherwise been developed, but also to establish credibility with local business, the community and government. Funds and other support had to be sourced from community, industry and government as program funding was limited. Strategic partnerships were formed with hospitality industry employers, oyster and fishing industry, local Council, tourism service operators and building industry. Other programs were sourced to enhance opportunities, for example, Land care and Environment Action Program (funds were provided by the Federal Government to undertake Land protection and Environment mend and enhancement works).
